We will assist client in searching for jobs of interest as well as assisting in preparing resumes, job applications, and developing job interviewing skills. This also includes providing training on how to address perceptual barriers of employers and prepare to meet expectations of employers. We will aid in client becoming knowledgeable about job duties, personnel benefits, rates of pay, employment policies and practices, and the job location prior to job acceptance.

We will assist our client in seeking competitive integrated employment to develop or re-establish skills, attitudes, personal characteristics, interpersonal skills, work behaviors and functional capacities to achieve an employment outcome.

* These services are time-limited and are provided directly to an individual seeking competitive integrated employment. The services take place in settings that meet the definition of an integrated community site.

We will facilitate opportunities for client in the VR program to have an informal conversation with someone working in a career area/job in an area of your interest. The intent is for the conversation will give the individual information and advice, this is not a job interview and is not to find job openings.

We are in the unique position of providing services afterschool & on weekends. We meet with clients wherever they are most comfortable and with the flexibility of allowing some virtual meetings (upon request).

We understand that everyone’s needs are different and want to make receiving services accessible to those who may not have the capacity to meet during the school day!
